Email Redesign: This Week at CSUSM

Email design is one of my favorite things to work on, so I was excited to redesign CSUSM’s campus-wide This Week at CSUSM email.

For the redesign, I focused on enhancing visual hierarchy and user engagement by incorporating more images to balance the content and improving information flow by condensing sections. The new layout is designed to complement the CSUSM Newscenter email and maintain a cohesive brand identity.

One of my key additions was a phone mockup at the bottom, which would feature a weekly relatable meme meant to encourage students to scroll through the entire email. This not only enhances engagement but also provides a strategic opportunity to highlight campus support programs and resources. The redesigned email is set to launch in Fall 2025.
